Two months ago was a bittersweet vacation. I was so excited that after a year and a half, I got to be with my family again and I got the chance to travel once more in the beautiful islands in Philippines. But it was also on the same day that I was on my flight back to Dubai that I received the bad news that my mother was hospitalized. Bittersweet indeed! But life must go on. After two months of learning how to accept things, life is still a journey to live on.
When I was still planning on my first vacation after a year and half working as an OFW, I have no other option but to explore and enjoy the lush beauty of the islands in Cebu. Aside from the idea that my friends are there, I am seriously considering to transfer my official residential home in Cebu City. It is a bustling city and islands are nearby which is a good remedy for a short weekend getaway. Imperial Palace Waterpark Resort and Plantation Bay are the only options I have then, since I have a limited time to travel.
Aside from both are posh, both resorts will only take like 45mins drive from the city proper. Lucky enough that I have good friends who are always there ready to mark out their calendars just to be with me for a short chitchat, catching up and enjoying the luxury of life.
So here are some of my pictures to better describe how it was to be on these two world class resorts:
In Plantation Bay:
For a daytripper, it cost us P2,000 nett per person inclusive of set lunch. Adults have two plate-in meal and this goes with the kids as well, choice of drinks, access to all lagoons and pools, 30mins bicycle and 15min non-motorized aqua sports. Please refer to the brochure I have posted below.
So there you go, just keep posted for the continuation of this blog. I will be posting the equally beautiful resort Imperial Palace Waterpark in my next post. Enjoy your Holiday!
